Fall is here!

We are just loving fall in the Nielsen house, it has been wonderful so far!

This is our fall-time wreath. I love. Why can I never finish a project without having to return to Joann's at least three times?

Once upon a time Trevor had a best friend named Taylor. Trevor and Taylor were tight like spandex, but in a good way. Taylor got married to a pretty pretty princess named Ashli. Ashli & Taylor had a baby boy named Carston who was the most darling baby in all the land. This is that baby. We love Taylor and Ashli, and we love Carston.

I made minestrone soup that became minestrone gumbo after a few too many minutes 

in the crockpot. It was still yummy and perfectly autumnesque!

I successfully cut my first pineapple. I just thought that was worthy of noting. And celebrating.

Overall, it was the best birthday I've ever had.

 

 

In other news... We've been loving our new furniture and television, we're ready for school to start, and I'm not ready for all of the snow cone stands to shut down. My new favorite thing is waking up in the peaceful morning hours of the morning and tidying up before Trevor wakes. Also, I still love being married. Especially since I'm married to someone so awesome.

Some more good times worth mentioning... Going north to see our loved ones, camping with family, Trevor doing SO well in school, sno cones all the time, Marcus & Janae's wedding, flip flops, watching olympics, and breakfast for dinner.
